When seven farmers from Ammerland joined forces in 1885 to form one of the first dairy cooperatives in northern Germany, more than just a company was created. Among them the motto was: Control is good, solidarity is better. Living this motto they achieved better quality standards than required by the law. As it is as a constantly growing dairy, in order to maintain this standard, investments in new projects are made. Ammerland approached us and asked for a new palletizing centre.

Profipack was awarded the contract for a palletising centre that had already been implemented several times.

The following machines were used:

• 3x PROFIPAL palletising with layer pad handling.
• 3x PROFIFORM flexible layer grouping
• 1x PROFIPAL empty pallet gantry for 4 empty pallet source stacks
• PROFITRANS pallet transport with 2x transfer car for full and empty pallets.

The challenge here was the height of the hall. With great accessibility for the operator, we succeeded in keeping the footprint so small that two additional machines can be added to the 3 required for the future. The Palletizer can be connected via the same empty pallet supply and full pallet connection.
