PSS-Weinkellerei Neuglasabschieber
Profipack has successfully commissioned a new glass pusher at PSS-Weinkellerei GmbH.
After an extremely positive inspection of an existing line, the winery decided to hand over the initial planning to Profipack. The customer was convinced by the fast and precise planning of a pusher in the existing line, which in turn meets the customer's high performance and product range.
The new machine enables PSS to depalletise all 16 different bottle formats. This process can be carried out without the waiting times normally associated with format changeovers. What's more, the layer pads and top sheets are handled fully automatically and without delay. As a result, the system can handle around 40,000 bph, which can then be passed on to production.
Once again, Profipack's efficient planning, fast installation and precise project management have shown that it can deliver system solutions. The customer has the added security of remote maintenance.

New glass slide gate
The bottle depalletiser is a standard Profipack machine and allows new glass to be unloaded from the pallet. A four-sided layer centring system allows fully automatic changeover between different pallets and product types, ensuring minimum set-up times. The pusher is designed as a universal machine and can handle all standard pallet sizes and container types.
It typically includes two magazines for layer pads and top sheets. These are also removed from the pallet and placed in the magazine fully automatically by means of a folding arm.
Transportation
Dust-free conveyor belts with mat chains are used to transport the bottles, ensuring that the product is transported from the machine to production without damage.
For pallet transport, a powered 3-track chain conveyor is used, including a de-foiling platform with pallet lifter to remove the undershrunk film. The smooth running of the chain ensures that no loose bottles fall off the pallet. The conveyors are designed for industrial pallets (1200 x 1000 mm
